QHSE Integrated Management System

Since our business sector is exposed to many risks, we believe that QHSE is more than just a priority; it’s a main part of Tharwa’s foundation.

Hence, we have taken steps to ensure that QHSE standards are an integral part of our processes, guiding our day to day actions.

We have a well-established and well-maintained Integrated Management System that is implemented throughout our company.

Within this system, we’ve set policies, procedures and a structure for leadership and accountability that is regularly audited and reviewed. Tharwa’s QHSE IMS incorporates and abides by various laws and standards as shown.

As well, helps the organization anticipate, identify, acknowledge, and respond to changes in an appropriate and timely way, Risk matrix used for both Business Risks and HSE Risks, in order to demonstrate to the organization’s management the ranking of the identified risks, which leading to the prioritizing of the required action plans related to each identified risk.

Managing our Risks

Tharwa has a robust approach towards managing any risks related to our operations. We continuously identify and evaluate hazards and potential sources of harm to people, assets, environment and economy.

Potential risks that could arise from such hazards are studied and analyzed. We then set a group of control measures, precautionary steps and constant monitoring to ensure that no undesired outcomes or ill effects take place. Moreover, in the unlikely event that the control measures are breached and an incident occurs a contingency plan is set to enable us to handle such an emergency situation with the utmost precision to mitigate damage and preserve lives.

This contingency plan is applied hand in hand with constant training’s and exercises that ensure the highest level of awareness, readiness, preparedness, and competence. Lastly, we spare no effort in learning from all incidents/events through deep and thorough investigations and constant collaborative relations with other entities to share experience and knowledge. This empowers us and enables us to put forward concrete corrective and preventative actions that enhances and maintains our QHSE performance.
