• EAS is located in the Western Desert of Egypt.
• Tharwa is the operator (100% working interest) in East Abu Sennan Concession . After Successful Exploration and Development Activities, fast track early production was implemented.
• Production in EAS started up in June 2018 by Al Alamein Petroleum Co.; the JV Company was Established on March 4, 2018 and started early production in June, 2018.
• In addition to the running Exploration & Development drilling activities, EAS is currently producing from 5 development leases.
• Upon drilling history in EAS & future drilling plan, additional discoveries are expected.
• Siwa Concession is located in the northwestern part of Western Desert. Apache is the Operator with 50% interest and Tharwa is a partner with 50%.
• Intensive drilling activities had been initiated in Siwa concession by Apache and Tharwa resulted in multiple discoveries that encountered oil bearing in the deep targets.
• The production started up in Dec. 2011.
• In addition to the running Exploration activities, Siwa is currently producing from 7 development leases,
with sustain development plans.
• Horus field is located in the northeastern part of the Western Desert of Egypt. Tharwa is the operator with 60% interest, while GPC is a partner with 40%
• In addition to the future plan to achieve exploration activities for deep targets, Tharwa had executed intensive development and exploration drilling since awarding.
• After Tharwa awarded Horus lease in 2015, the intensive drilling operations led to remarkable increase =60% of field production.
• WEEME Concession is located in the Eastern Desert; in the south western part of the Gulf of Suez.
• Lukoil is the operator with 50% interest and Tharwa share is 50%.
• Since 2010, Tharwa & Lukoil had performed exploration and development activities and the future plan includes additional exploration and development activities.
• Production in WEEME started up in Feb. 2010. A remarkable oil production was reached after connecting many successful Exploration and Development wells to the production network.
Egypt has reached final agreements with different major international energy firms in Oil & Gas (ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP, Total, Royal Dutch Shell) as shown in the map to explore for oil and gas in deep waters in the Mediterranean and Red Sea, it is considered as the first such deals in that offshore region.
Tharwa is an excellent Egyptian focal investor to get in partnership in a participating interest of (10%) in each block aiming to expand the Company through a well-established investment plan and a promising bench-market, as a result of a professional portfolio & risk management strategy.
Joint Operating Agreement is made between IEOC Production B.V., Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.E., BP Exploration (Delta) Limited and Mubadala Petroleum (Nour) Limited, IEOC is the operator holding a participating interest of 45%, BP 25%, Mubadala 20% and Tharwa 15% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.163 of 2018 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS).
Joint Operating Agreement is made between Chevron Egypt Holdings C PTE.LTD., Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.E. and IEOC Production B.V., Chevron is the operator holding a participating interest of 45%, IEOC 45% and Tharwa 10% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.161 of 2020 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS).
North El-Dabaa Concession
Joint Operating Agreement is made between Chevron Egypt Holdings B PTE.LTD., Woodside Energy and Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.Ε., Chevron is the operator holding a participating interest of 63%, Woodside 27% and Tharwa 10% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.164 of 2020 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS).
Joint Operating Agreement is made between BG Delta Limited (Shell), Noble Energy Egypt II B.V. (Chevron) and Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.E., BG Delta is the operator holding a participating interest of 63%, Noble Energy 27% and Tharwa 10% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.154 of 2020 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS).

Joint Operating Agreement is made between Shell Exploration and Production (93) B.V, BHP and Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.E., Shell is the operator holding a participating interest of 60%, BHP 30% and Tharwa 10% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.157 of 2020 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE).
Joint Operating Agreement is made between BG Delta Limited (Shell), Mubadala Petroleum (Red Sea Block 4) Holding RSC Limited, BHP and Tharwa Petroleum Company S.A.E., BG is the operator holding a participating interest of 38%, Mubadala 27%, BHP 25% and Tharwa 10% whereas the parties have initialed the Concession Agreement for Petroleum Exploration and Exploitation issued by law number No.160 of 2020 with the Arabic Republic of Egypt and the South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE).
