As part of the directives of Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to implement the state’s sustainable development goals in line with Egypt Vision 2030, Tharwa Petroleum Company launched a free medical convoy in the city of Sidi Barani, Matrouh Governorate.
Tharwa Petroleum Company, headed by Eng. Saeed Abdel Moneim, Chairman and Managing Director, in cooperation with the Ibrahim Badran Charity Foundation, launched a free medical convoy in Sidi Barani City, Matrouh Governorate, to provide medical examinations and treatment for 700 patients across six different medical specialties, based on the needs of local residents. The convoy also included a health awareness program accompanying the medical services.
Representing Major General Dr. Khaled Shoaib, Governor of Matrouh, Dr. Islam Ragab, Deputy Governor of Matrouh, attended the event, alongside Mr. Saeed El-Mallah, Deputy Head of Sidi Barani City; Major General Omar Fahmy, Head of Sidi Barani City Council; Dr. Ahmed Refaat, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; and Mr. Mohamed El-Attar, Director of the Deputy Governor’s Office.
Representing Tharwa Petroleum Company were Ms. Bassant Salah, General Manager and Supervisor of Corporate Social Responsibility Activities; Ms. Zeinab Omar, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility Activities; and Mr. Tony Beshry, Assistant General Manager of Public Relations.
The convoy witnessed strong engagement from local residents, who were keen to benefit from the services provided. Residents also expressed their appreciation to the organizers of the convoy for delivering free medical care that helped meet the needs of a large number of citizens
